Who's the best King Vulture in the whole wide world?
However you feel personally about snacking on dead mice, the answer to this question is always "Baton Rouge." If you don't believe me, check out this video of our King Vulture being weighed. Good bird!
Hey, why is he named Baton Rouge? I'm just curious, I work at the Baton Rouge zoo and I've handraised 5 birds since I've been here. Just wondering if yours was one of ours :)
He is a good bird. I've always loved his coloring.

I know that he was bred at the sanctuary, but I don't know where he got his name.

He is such a gorgeous bird. We have turkey vultures in TN, and they are super pretty but Baton Rouge is absoluetly stunning.
