Out of over 60 names submitted, our Education Department staff unanimously decided on “Jack” as the new name for our Harris Hawk.

We would like to thank ‘Anonymous’ for this submission. Unfortunately, we are unable to send Jack’s Adopt-a-Bird packet to the person who named him as we have no personal information. Thank you again to everyone who participated in this endeavor to name our new Harris Hawk. Keep an eye out for him at education programs, where he has started his career as an animal ambassador for World Bird Sanctuary.
