Nemo (the African grey parrot) and Susan (the human) go through a practice routine before breakfast:
Nemo spent his summer performing at the Milwaukee County Zoo this year and I know he wowed a lot of people.

Both birds are just absolutely adorable. How cute that they talk and tell stories.
One question: Where are all their toys in their cages? They should have at least 5 toys, including foraging toys and toys that stimulate their mind?
Just wondering. Cute videos!!
That is an excellent question, and I'm glad you asked!
I film our parrots going through practice routines early in the morning before food and toys are rotated in. This helps them stay focused. Most of our toys are hand made by us and include foraging toys. We do have a very small number of donated toys. I wish we had more but I also enjoy trying out new toy ideas. I'm excited about trying some new ones this fall now that everybirdy is home in St. Louis. Maybe I'll take some videos of playtime too!
Buddy and Nemo thank you for the compliments. They NEVER get tired of compliments!
